Support the
Ministry  by Giving

We give because God has given to us. God gave His only Son to die on a cross for our sins (John 3:16). Giving financially to the work of the ministry and the spread of the Gospel is one way we can give back to God.

We give because God loves a cheerful giver and blesses the giver (2 Corinthians 9:6-15). This does not mean if you give to the Church God will bless you materially, but rather spiritually. We give cheerfully knowing Who we are giving to and what He has done for us in Christ Jesus.

We give because our money doesn’t even belong to us. Every good gift comes from God (James 1:16-18). We are but stewards of what He has entrusted us with (Matthew 25:13-30). When we give we are giving back to God what is already His.

We give to support the work of the ministry in the local Church. Giving allows the Church and her leaders to do ministry and give themselves to the preaching and teaching of the Word (1 Timothy 5:17-18).

We give to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20). Here at MBC 17.5% of our general tithes and offerings go directly to the missionaries we support as a Church. Your giving contributes directly to the spread of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

We give in order hold loosely to this world. Giving reminds us that this world is not all that there is. It helps us look onward to eternity and not love our money and possessions (Matthew 6:19-34).
